Citrate Esters

TEC, FCC	The major use for Triethyl Citrate, F.C.C. Grade is in dried egg whites as a whipping agent. It is approved as a food additive and for food contact use as well as a flavoring agent, solvent and vehicle and surface - active agent in foods in general.
Morflex MSC	Monostearyl Citrate (MSC) is a mixture of mono-, di- and tri-stearyl citrate esters which show utility as an oil-soluble chelating agent. The long carbon chains render it soluble in a variety of oils and the free carboxyl groups confer the chelation effect.
