A clear liquid with a pear-like odor. Benzyl acetate is practically insoluble in water. It is miscible with alcohol and ether.

 

Product/Application Benefits

Benzyl acetate is used in perfume formulation and as a solvent for cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate.
